next ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS COURSE date to be confirmed
4 week block, $50 Wednesdays 7-8pm With very few steps you will learn to dance musically, in connection with your dance partner and to navigate the social dance floor enjoyably. This is a practical class where the fundamentals of tango argentino are taught. This class is followed by an evening of social dancing where you can practice your skills and meet our very inclusive and welcoming tango community. CONTINUING BEGINNERS/IMPROVERS CLASS resumes 8 July with Marian and Phil 7-8pm Wednesdays $12 per class or $100 for 10 classes (free entry to the Wednesday Milonga for class attendees) Continuing from the basics this class provides a vocabulary of traditional moves that are useful on the social dance floor and work well with the music. Connection, posture and musicality are focussed on and dancers will also learn to navigate the busy dance floor.
